Are they all just as good as each other? I wasn't sure where to post this as it's a generic question, and i've posted it in two sections. With the current setup using stock 3mm pads that might be 6w/mk at best, you're probably better off without the backplate.

This particular 3090 had gelid extreme pads on the vram and the power modules (1 mm to replace the oem thermal puffy). Copper modding is where small copper shims are used to connect hot chips on the gpu to the heatsink more effectively than the standard thermal pads used by the manufacturer.

On my fx 5950 i am restoring, the thermal pads on the memory were dried out. The copper shims should be 0.2mm thinner than the size of the thermal pads to work properly. Includes 12pcs of these thicknesses:
